1 DAY PART OF MANAGER'S DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Meaningful conversations aren’t always easy, but they are a crucial part of leadership. Deliver constructive feedback with clarity and deal with high emotions in the workplace.
As a manager, sometimes you need to have conversations that you’d rather not. Dealing with performance issues or habitual patterns like chronic lateness can be tough and may stir up emotions, but these conversations are crucial in the workplace and need to be handled in the right way. Our practical course will give you confidence to recognise, plan for and manage these conversations.  You will also be given the opportunity to practise using specific language and tone to overcome emotional or difficult behaviours during the conversation.

As a manager, it is important that you provide regular feedback and give people the opportunity to 'get it right' and be successful in their roles.

1 DAY PART OF MANAGER'S DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

  • Understand the nature of coaching and counselling to improve performance.
  • Develop confidence with asking questions and gathering data.
  • Increase your skill capability in coaching.
  • Effectively handle difficult situations and behaviours during feedback.
